Tenerife is a wonderful holiday destination, full of sunshine and beaches.

Every traveller, honeymooner, vacationer, tourist, or other brave souls have taken refuge or made reservations in a hotel, motel, villa, bed and breakfast, or some other form of overnight lodging. In those lodgings there are the most common of human necessities – beds, a bathroom and lights..
Every hotel, motel, and B and B have their own type (make and model) of bed that they choose to install in their rooms. The high end hotels can afford to provide bedcentre beds made of special space-age memory foam in sizes from Queen to California King (same width as a traditional King sized bed, but longer to accommodate taller people), and are often accompanied by high thread count sheets, luxury pillows, and blankets stuffed with down.
If you’re don’t have the luxury of getting to stay in the more expensive hotels, you are still given the option to choose which size bed you’d like in your room. Just like in the more expensive hotels, the rooms offer Queen and California King sized beds, but they can also offer two full sized beds for people travelling together who are not romantically involved, and even two Queen sized beds for those who want a little more room when they sleep. Each different sized bed increases the price of the room the larger the bed goes.
When travelling, you may not care too much about the bed when you are just staying the night on your way through, but if you are choosing a room with the intention to stay a while (vacationing or honeymoon) choose a room with a larger bed size that is a newer model (you can ask the hotel management about the make and model of the bed before making the reservations).
It’s often the case that it’s difficult to sleep in a strange bed, but there’s nothing like getting back home after a long haul flight and curling up in your familiar surroundings, and resting your head on your own tempur mattress and pillow.
